#2 Mates and Skippers Cruising Kids

Learning to sail in a 4 week series. Will improve sailing skills to confidently go places on each sailor's own boat, and to participate with others in group activities in boats.

WEEK TWO: Learn to direct crew to be a 1st mate or skipper of a boat. Become a certified ASA 110 sailor. Learn the rules to think safe - watch for in the water dangers, the weather and other boats. Each day will Venture out on to the Estuary to explore by boat to see the full extent of what is close by.  Sailing is in a protected waterway. The 2nd week if all are ready - Thursday is a treasure hunt along the Estuary.

Bring lunch. Dress in layers. Bring sun protection - hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Read the materials provided and take a written test to qualify for ASA 110

Pre class drop off $35. Post class care $35. Call to arrange
