Corinthian Shadow

Corinthian YC has a fun reguatta over 2 weekends in winter. The dates are known for a large variety of weather conditions. There is a raft-up for the participants who come in from afar to stay the night. Can leave and come back, your choice. They host a dinner followed by a band and dancing the night after the first race.  

In a past event the USCG who closed the Golden Gate Bridge for in or out bound traffic allowed this race to go forward crossing the bay. The other weekend of that year had gentle steady winds and warm sunshine. Definitely a 'box of chocolates' kind of weather events. This is exactly why we participate. Experience in how to make the best of the what you get for currents, winds and weather. Spinnaker either Asym or regular will be used.
