Event Information

ASA 101 + ASA103 challenges

ASA Challenges are not guaranteed to pass, however this is a great option for those with a strong sailing background, and helps define where to start strengthening skills or what is needed to complete a particular certification level. To pass and achieve certification via a challenge = show key knowledge is understood in the ASA curriculum and sail proving competent skills that meet the ASA level being challenged.  Additionally you must pass a written Skills test.  Additional education can be sorted out the day of the challenge; you may need a few hours private instruction to complete the challenge if you came close, but did not pass. If you miss more then 20 questions on the written test and do not pass the skill review then that is the level to enroll for a full ASA lesson.
